Eric Howes is a graphic designer with a background in systems and operations. He worked for a creative staffing agency for over a decade, building databases, reporting tools, and workflows for recruiters to support HR and operations. That firsthand experience with hiring, evaluation, and the realities of job seeking informs his teaching and professional practice.
He enjoys painting, typography, and all kinds of maps; not to mention an avid hiker and record collector. A native Michigander, Eric moved to Oregon, then Idaho, and back—amounting to 86.5%, 11.1%, and 2.4% of his life, respectively.
